Week of 2-28

Our class is publishing a book. Thank you for helping your child practice their sentence.  Please make sure all forms are filled out and returned tomorrow. If you do not want to buy the book please check no and return. If our class receives 100% back the company will send a class book free. I do have a couple extra forms. Our class book will be sent in tomorrow morning. Your child will be wearing a sticker to remind you.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

On Monday our class will be writing a book that will be published. Please fill out the attached form. Even if you do not want to buy the class book please return and check no. If we receive all forms back with yes or no our class will receive a free book. Forms are Due tomorrow 2-23-11. Your child will receive a special something for returning the form filled out.


GRANDPARENTS DAY INFORMATION

Please have all Grandparents go to the basketball courts. We will not be in the classroom. Please let them know that if they are taking their Grandchild early they need to let the office and I know. It is for your child’s safety. There will be special art project for each set of Grandparents sent home on Wednesday.

Last week, the students made Dory from Nemo and they are swimming in the oceanarium. Also, the students had donuts.
Thank you to everyone for bringing in snacks. Please make sure your child has a water bottle every day.
NO SCHOOL –FEBRUARY 24th – 27th. We will see you all Monday, February 28th.

This week we will be reviewing letters and letter sounds. There will be NO homework this week.

Week of 2-14

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY! Thank you for helping your student complete Valentines for their classmates. I love Valentine’s Day in the Oceanarium because the students are so excited. Their faces are priceless. They cannot believe they get valentine from everyone.
For love of reading week, Ms. Kashwna (Donvan’s Mom), Ms. Fite, Mrs. Stewart, Ms. Janet and the principal Mr. Rubasch read to our class. It is so valuable for students to see firsthand that the love of reading last throughout your life.
Last week, the students made Yellow Y’s with Yellow yarn. Also, the students made heart people that are hanging in our classroom. For snack on Friday the class enjoyed Yogurt Pretzels, Yogurt (cookie) Stars and Strawberry Yogurt O’s Cereal served on yellow napkins.

• Students will be able to wear western attire on Grandparent’s Day
• All kindergarten classes will be outside.
