To show our support of the U of A making it to the SWEET SIXTEEN, students are allowed to wear jeans with wildcat or red shirt on Thursday, March 24, 2011. Please have your child wear their uniform if not dressing in U of A shirts.

Last week, out class celebrated Mardi Gras. The students had King Cake (Isabella found the baby doll in her piece). The students listened to Jazz music and had a parade with their masks. They looked great. Each child received a necklace and a coin.
Also, the students made Jelly fish that are swimming in the Oceanarium. Everyone enjoyed tasting jelly beans and Junior Mints.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD HAS A WATER BOTTLE EVERY DAY!!!
• Students may leave their water bottles at school.
Wednesday, March 16th – ALL CHILDREN MUST BE PICKED UP AT 11:30
• ½ day of school with NO LUNCH AND

Last week, the class enjoyed celebrating Dr. Seuss Birthday and reading many of his books. The letter of the week was Vv and the class made vases. Last Friday was National Pound Cake Day. The students ate vanilla pound cake and vanilla ice cream.
Please have your child practice their home address (including zip code), phone number (including area code), and birthday (including year). I will be testing each child this week.
Please continue to bring in empty shoe boxes. Thank you to Sierra’s family for bringing in extra boxes.
