I hope all the Mom’s had a great Mother’s Day. Mrs. Marshall and I want to thank everyone for their thoughtfulness and generosity during Teacher Appreciation week. The students are very excited about Graduation. Please make sure your student is at school every day. Graduation dress down for a dollar is tomorrow, Tuesday, 15th. Graduation – May 17th 9:00 – 10:30 – Hope to see you all there! • Please make sure your student is at school by 8:15 on Thursday. • Students may dress up. Girls NO HEELS. Please make sure we can put a cap on your student’s head. • All caps and gowns need to be put in the box before the students may enjoy the refreshments. • All students need to say good bye to Mrs. Marshall and me before they leave for the day. Students MUST be signed out at the office • You will be able to purchase the Graduation slide show. Please see attached form. Field trip: Monday, May 21st from 11:30 – 3:00 • Field trips slips are going home today. Please have them signed and returned by Monday, May 14th. • Cost is $7.00 – includes bowling, shoes, soda and pizza. • If you are able to volunteer please send me a note. • Please make sure your student knows their shoe size. Please write the size on the bottom of the field trip slip.

Thank you to the following adults that came on our field trip Friday: Brandi (Trent’s Mom), Zenia (Angelita’s Mom), Valecia (Janai’s Mom), Randy (Randy’s Step-Dad), Delorez (Honey’s Grandma), Carol (Madison’s Mom), Evelyn and Pat (Ryan’s Mom and Dad), and Faith (Angelia’s Mom), and Alan (Donnie’s Dad). We could not have done it without you. The students had a blast. The students participated in wooden spoon and egg race, Tug-o-war, sack race and balloon toss. The student enjoyed bubbles and sports wash cloth. “This is the best day ever!” said a student in the bus on the way back to school. The girls won the penny war.
