The class was disappointed that no one was able to catch a
leprechaun. L The mischievous leprechaun left our classroom
a mess, but was kind enough to leave each student a little black pot and some
gold. Their leprechaun catchers are
going home today. Please ask your
student about their catcher. This class
has great imaginations. J
Last
week the students decorated Vases
and tasted Vanilla Wafers. The students made very creative Leprechaun
catchers. Please look on my blog for
pictures.
LPA Run, Walk, Roll – It was great to see Ryan and Jorge’s
families enjoying the morning. They are
both fast runners. Hope to see you all
next year!
FRIDAY – Please send
your child with 4 hard boiled eggs to dye.
They need to be in a container with your student’s name on it. We will dye eggs Friday.

Last week the classroom was filled with Dr. Seuss. The students picked out rhyming words in his
books, made a Cat in the Hat with their reading buddies, ate green eggs and
ham. I loved all the Dr. Seuss
characters. Also, it is great to see the
students more comfortable sharing in front of the class. Please look on my blog to see pictures from
Dr. Seuss Birthday! http://www.missohare.blogspot.com
In
addition, last week the students made Dory and drums. The students enjoyed Dum Dums. The students also received a diamond
necklace.
St. Patrick’s Day Project: Each student will need an empty shoebox. If you are able to bring in more than one,
that would be great. Sometimes when you
ask stores (Famous Footwear, Payless, etc.) they will give you the empty
ones. Please do NOT bring them in until
Tuesday, March 12th. I do not
have room for 28 shoeboxes.
