Last week, the class began learning Nursery Rhymes. Please have your student tell you the Nursery Rhyme, There was an old women who lived in a shoe. Also, the class learned Hey Diddle Diddle and Hickory Dickory Dock. The students are doing a great job memorizing the Nursery Rhymes. Also, the students made Turtle Tambourines and enjoyed Twinkies for T week. The students practiced keeping rhythm like they are learning in music class. Homework: • All students must complete homework and turn it in on Friday. Homework is NOT an option • Reading log is part of the homework assignment and needs to be completed. o Reading to your child is a vital part of their reading development. It makes a difference.
