Week of 8-20
Each student made an octopus that is swimming in our oceanarium. Also, the students enjoyed Oh’s cereal while studying the letter Oo.
On Monday, Coach Erin, my sister, came into the classroom and held a mini basketball clinic. We may have some future basketball stars. Coach Erin is from Monterey, California, and is Associate Head Women’s Basketball Coach and teacher at Monterey Peninsula College.
On Friday, my sister Jessica, from Irvine, California, visited the classroom. She read to the students and helped with making the olive branch crowns. Jessica works for Orange County.

Please see the attached sheet of Olympic results. On Friday, our class competed against Miss. MacIntosh’s kindergarten class in a relay race. Our class won!
