Last week, the students learned about Dinosaurs. The students are learning about carnivores, herbivores, omnivores, habits, predators, and defense mechanisms. Also, the students have made lanterns and snakes for Chinese New Year’s. Please make sure your child has a change of uniform clothes in a bag in their backpack at all times. If they are out of dress code, it is easier for them to change into their extra clothes rather than going up to the office and not being able to participate in Friday dress. FOR LOVE of READING Week: Tuesday – Pajama Day – please NO slippers, robes, stuffed animals, etc. Wednesday – book mark day – We will be making them in class Thursday – Poem in a pocket – Please go over the poem with your child. Please make sure they are pointing to each word. Valentines – please have your child address their Valentine’s Day cards. This is great writing experience, and they will enjoy picking out which card they will give to their friends.
