It was great to see the students at Harvest Fest. Thank you to the following Moms for helping at our booth. I greatly appreciate your time. Thank you to: Gina (Giovanni’s Mom), Priscilla (Aidan’s Mom), Natalie (Ryan’s Mom), Jennifer (Zariyah’s Mom), Cynthia (Alex’s Mom), Petra (Elizabeth’s Mom), and Molly (Jordan’s Mom). Last Friday, Mrs. Marshall and I put on a Pirate Party with Miss Janet’s help. The students each received a pirate patch, bandana, and a mustache. The class played carnival games and received many goodies. One student said “This is the best party EVER!”  FIELD TRIP: Friday, November 2nd • Field trips are a privilege for the students. Please continue to talk to your child about making good choices and listening the first time at school. • All volunteers MUST be fingerprinted in the office before Friday. I will check Thursday afternoon. • All volunteers-- please fill out the attached form and return tomorrow. I will be making groups. • STUDENTS – MUST bring a bag lunch, including a drink. No lunch boxes. Everything will be thrown away at the park. • Students – MUST wear tennis shoes. • Students – Must be at the school by 8:10 to eat breakfast and change into their field trip shirts. **** There has been a change in Plans. Students will be transported in school vans to the Museum. Adult Volunteers will need to transport their own child on the field trip. We will all caravan over to the Museum and the park. ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE ASK!  This week we will be studying: • Letter Ss • Counting numbers 1-50 • Counting by 10’s to 100 • Identifying numbers to 50 • Spiders body parts – 8 eyes, 8 legs, abdomen, cephalothorax • Halloween
