Last week the students studied the letter Nn. The students enjoyed Neapolitan Oreo cookies. Also, each student made a necklace.
Last Friday, the Southwest Ambulance (kid ambulance) came to La Paloma to talk to all the kindergarten classes. They explained with their job, and how they help kids when they are hurt. Each child toured the kid ambulance and observed the ladies remove and replace the stretcher in the ambulance.
Wednesday, October 17th – dress down in PINK to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation:
• Students MUST wear a pink article of clothing – the more pink the better.
• Students need to bring in $1 (or $2 or $3 if they want!)
• 100% of the money will be donated to the foundation
• The class that collects the most donations will get an Eegee’s party.
Halloween – students may NOT wear costumes to school.
Harvest Fest – October 26th
• Thank you to all the families that have signed up to volunteer for our booth.
• Please send in the $1 for the tattoos for our booth.
• Students may wear their Halloween costume to the Harvest Fest.
